FOTD: Weekend Simple Makeup

Hello, everyone i am Cynthia. Welcome to lunaism, and here is my first post. I love anything about makeups, i love learning everything new everyday and Of course sharing with all of you is my kind of pleasure.

Today i want to share my favorite weekend simple look. Just spend maybe 30 minutes for this makeup. Easy, flawless and perfectly natural makeup look. I’m not using fake eyelashes for this look.

Let’s do the base. If you have enough time, apply primer first. It’s a simple step but have a huge effect for your entire look. It’s my face with 1 layer foundation, using YSL Top Secret and Urban Decay Naked Skin shade 3.0. Oh! i will never miss using primer to my eyelids, still with my favorite Milani Eyeshadow Primer (it’s Urban Decay Primer Potion dupe). At this step i also apply lip balm on my lips using YSL Top Secrets.

It’s time for eye makeup. I only use one single eyeshadow for this simple look. Apply Milani Shadow Eyez in number 2 brown deluxe and blend it with my finger. They set quickly so you need to blend it fast before it dry (they won’t work so well with brush). I’m really into eyeshadow jumbo pencil lately, because it is easy to use. Brown deluxe is such a pretty deep metallic bronze.

Don’t forget to apply liquid eyeliner, my favorite is Loreal Superliner Black Lacquer. Oh my! This is my holy grail eyeliner. I have oily lids, after trying almost tons of eyeliners, finally i found the one which doesn’t smudge on my eyelids and under eyes. I will always repurchase this one.

It’s Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade in chocolate on my eyebrow. Start filling in your eyebrows and define their shape. ABH pomade is very pigmented and last longer than any others, so it is worth the price. It does not budge or fade all day. Use a flat tip brush and cream concealer lighter than your skin, i use LA Girls Pro Conceal in creamy beige. Go tightly underneath your brows in the direction of brows to highlight. Blend it to your eyelids so it doesn’t look too light.

My mascara is Kiss Me Heroine Make long and curls. It holds my curl beautifully and makes my lashes more visible. It is so good, even my friends thought I was wearing falsies. Don’t forget to curl it first, i prefer Shu Uemura eyelash curler.

For contouring, i just apply a light contour and highlight, because i want to keep it simple. Use LA girls velvet contour stick in suede for contour and cashmere for highlight. The texture is very soft and velvety, powdery finish blends beautifully. They glides on to face easily. I love Suede for contour, it gives that really nice sunkissed glow. Blend it with Beauty Blender or you can use a brush as well.

My blush is Borjuois shade 34 rose d’or. They have medium pink with gold shimmer, it is so pretty. This baked blush is easy to put on, gives just enough colour without making me look like a clown. The packaging is so adorable. Apply it lightly on your cheek bone between contour and highlight, and then set it up with Mac Skin Finish Natural in light.

Last but not least, yes! It’s time for lipstick. This is Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid lipstick in bumble. My new favorite lipstick which i can’t resist. It’s colour is so pretty. Makes your lips a little bit dry, but if you apply lip balm first, then it won’t be a problem.
